Welcome!

Hello visitors, we are Alex and Michelle from Vancouver, Canada and this personal website is dedicated to the detailed reportings of our travelling adventures.

Here, we will post various photo and video galleries from our trips, maps, itineraries, stats, stories as well as other interesting tidbits about our favourite spots and future plans. We present to you, our travel CV.

The full website is coming soon so check back for more updates, but until then, here’s a sample of some of our latest adventures.

Benelux & Germany

The shortest distance from A to B is a straight line, but we’re applying complex math equations and adding tangents to this journey. Circling four countries and touching many points, we are embracing local life with a daily balance of past and present all while taking in endless UNESCO sites — that’s the basic formula for Amsterdam to Berlin in 5 weeks.

Wander Washington

The list of activities, attractions and wonders of the Evergreen State is long and they have finally earned their spotlight. We are wandering and putting together another kick-ass road trip in the comfortably warm month of May.

May 20-29, 2022

Türkiye ‘22

The return to International travel, long-haul flights, foreign currencies, plenty of cultural flavours and some exhilarating local activities. It’s Europe and Asia at the exact same time and packaged just how we like it and we’re going for it. #helloturkiye

Victoria Voyage

Omicron, restrictions, snowfall, constant cancellations and border-crossing uncertainty are all mounting obstacles getting in the way of our travel freedom and it’s getting really annoying but despite all that, we have wintery Victoria on showcase.

Dec 27-31, 2021

Backyard BC

Our backyard is a huge geographical area and this summer we are exploring what remains of beautiful British Columbia and will soon become experts of all the major spots — all while supporting local and helping end the pandemic.

Aug 15-31, 2021

Vancouver Island

As the global pandemic rages on, we must push up our travel schedule for some local spots that keep us closer to home — places that have eluded us in recent years.

Mar 15-26, 2021

Western Canada

In the midst of the history-altering COVID-19 pandemic and with two fully-planned international trips sitting on the shelf, a cross country drive is all that’s left to salvage the once ambitious summer.

Aug 4-30, 2020

Las Vegas

The place they call Sin City is exceptional and meticulous at recreating other places. It doesn’t make them real, but it’s fun and we love themes.

Nov 7-12, 2019

Ontario-Quebec

Finding adventure on home soil and reflecting on the rich history of this nation while taking in educational tours from various government establishments.

Jun 29-Jul 19, 2019

Asia 2019

Major metropolises galore. Fast-paced, efficient, modern day high-tech economy thriving while beautifully preserving its rich history and culture.

Mar 16-Apr 6, 2019

Portland

Proper visit to the Rose City combing through the various festivals, breweries, events, stores, restaurants and parks — a big fall weekend adventure in a small package.

Nov 9-13, 2018

Latin America

First trip as a team and the beginning of something huge! To start, we are diversifying and adding a spice to our travel resume with the old colonial Spanish lands known today as Latin America.

Jul 24-Aug 16, 2018

USA 2017

Opportunities must be taken when presented or time will pass you by. This year I go to America to take my mind off personal matters, get a break from work, enjoy the positivity of travel and make a small dent on my bucket list.

Jun 3-27, 2017

Southeast Asia

A little bit of love for the other side of the world. My first trip to Asia brings about many new, wonderful, sometimes scary and mostly eye-opening first-hand experiences that can quickly humble you to the core.

Jan 25-Mar 7, 2016

Italia-France

Less than 11 months have passed since my last European adventure, and I was back at it again. Same format, new places — checking out historic landmarks, eating delicious food, seeing people I know, and having a pretty good time.
