Rogers Cup 2009

Seeing Roger, Rafa, Nole and many others play live was unbelievable!

And then I believed it. What was truly unbelievable is how hot it gets there in the stadium watching matches for 5 days straight, jaysus!

On a serious note now – most semi-serious-casual-amateur tennis players relish the opportunity to see the pros play live at least once in their life and I fall dead smack into that category. Not knowing the schedule ahead of time and not wanting to miss any of the action, I got tickets for pretty much all the stadium matches. This guy is keeping safe is what you’re thinking.

On top of fulfilling my wish to watch live tennis, I also got to enjoy the niceties a world renowned city and engrave myself in its culture and beauty. Overall, a solid trip with lots of nice memories to look back on.

Daily Temperature

This was pleasant to experience. Those who know me know that this is about 20° higher than my optimal standard operating temperature. Humidity was high too. I really don't miss this part.

Tennis Matches Attended

From the players I saw play live this week, they account for all the Major winners of a 10 year span (2005-2014). You can certainly say I got my value out of this one!
