Alberta Road Trip

A beautiful nearby place has eluded me for a long time. The Canadian provincial neighbours have finally earned my dedicated visit and given me another adventure.

The province of Alberta has a lot to offer and I wanted to find out all I could for some time now. The perfect opportunity came up and Jane and I packed our bags and went on the 3,104km journey to see what’s what. Also, with the Canadian dollar badly tanking lately, not having to buy expensive currency was another real plus for a domestic trip at this time.

Driving through the Rockies and stopping along various places was an experience that continuously had me asking, ‘Why hadn’t I come here before?!’ The places were beautiful, the people were welcoming and the fun was everywhere. A magical two weeks, to say the least!

Luge Speed (km/h)

The Skyline Luge at the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary was spine-tinglingly (literally) fast. We did 2 runs to double the fun.

Food/Drink Samples Tried

At Taste of Edmonton, there was a lot of people - and a lot of food - along with some annoying long line-ups.

Car Warning Lights

We were blessed and drove trouble free! However, we did squash 983 insects that senselessly flew into the car.
